"Snow White and the Huntsman" is an ok/average adventure-fantasy film starring the Twilight girl Kristen Stewart and the now popular Chris Hemsworth. The film takes the 1937 fantasy Disney story of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and turns it into a more adventurous story. The SFX are pretty decent but the entire story and direction of the film doesn't really add anything new to the classic tale except for the action. Kristen Stewart does a poor performance as expected but the surprise for me is to see great veteran actors like Ian Mcshane, Ray Winstone and Bob Hoskins play Dwarfs...I mean really?. Anyways "Snow White and the Huntsman" is watchable but don't expect anything exciting or fresh to the story like the trailer makes you think.
@mx23 sorry to be pedantic, but Disney didn't invent the story so this isn't a version of their cartoon, they are both versions using the same ancient fairytale as the source material...
