This documentary, as well as their previous one, Cowspiracy, is really well done. I do think some people involved with the American Heart Association, etc. have good intentions but often upper management puts profit over people. That, of course, is really unfortunately. The good news is that as a RN, I have seen people's lives transform before me using a whole food, plant-based (vegan) diet. It's not a magic cure-all but works remarkably well for most of the chronic diseases killing Americans. If you haven't already, I would encourage everyone to try a plant-based diet for 30 days and then judge for yourself. Make sure to notify your physician, especially if you're on high blood pressure or diabetes medications as some adjustments may need to be made. There are tons of great resources out their to guide you that I have included below.
