This episode was rather reminiscent of "Humans", the British android show based on a Swedish one.
It was very interesting to know more about Two's and the Android's (common) past. This show has always managed to keep us on our toes when it comes to the storyline (one of the strongest aspects of "Dark Matter", in my opinion).
Now, what are those shady androids up to...?

@misnomer Having watched both the British and the Swedish versions of 'Human', I really appreciate this episode kind of nodding towards this format by strongly focusing on the android storyline. Nostalgia everywhere.

@kazekira I have never watched the Swedish version (though I have it around here on my PC, somewhere). Is it so much better than the British version, like people say? I'm curious because I already love the British version.
And I do hope to see more of androids wanting to become (better than) humans in Dark Matter. The Android uprising, as cliché as it may be, sounds like a promising storyline in the Dark Matter universe. Though I really don't want the Android to become more human. Ironically enough, the way she is right now is what gives her personality.

@misnomer To be completely honest, nah. I mean, I really enjoyed the Swedish version, but having watched the British one first, I guess my expectations were simply way too high. You could give it a shot, though, and check out the first two episodes or something.
I totally agree!
I love Suki the way she is, with all of her quirks and whatnot. So personally, I'm much more interested in how far and in what direction she'd be able to evolve/develop without any additional illegal mods (which, as she said, only acted like some sort of mask rather than genuine change); but solely by her own ambition and curiosity. Her attempting to learn how to smile in a mirror was hilarious.
