Finally, Sue and Sean! That was certainly the high point of the episode. But I had problems with the Frankie and Axl church plot - guilt tripping your kids into attending church is not cool. Attending church with no faith is not cool. Church is not a social experience, it is not a space to showcase your singing, and it is not a place meant to be seen picture perfect with your family. Not attending church when you do not feel like it, is just fine, and not attending at all because you are not religious, is just fine too! Be social at a party, sing with a caroling group, perhaps try other kinds of celebration if you do not like the Christian one. I think this kind of behavior would classify as an unhealthy relationship with religion. I wish the writers had been more sensible about it.
