I put my review behind spoilers, although I presume everyone has already seen who wanted to. I saw Shrek already 5 or 6 times, but my last watch was ages ago. After all these times I still adore it for its inventiveness, which means it makes fun of fairy tales and turns upside down the tropes of a simple damsel in distress situation. Furthermore, it's bold. The bird was exploded, Robin Hood and his gang got beaten up, reptiles were made into balloons and the king was eaten. Still a classic animation!
