First Team: Juventus 2018

Maybe I expected a bit too much but this was kinda disappointing. Had hoped it would go more into detail and get more personal/private behind the scenes a la 'Last Chance U'.

What we got is basically just a bunch of slowmotion shots of some games with some interviews in between saying 'Juve is a family' over and over again. Occasianally some shots looking behind the curtain (mostly just training). But nothing really that we haven't seen in countless BTS youtube videos of other clubs. Nothing in-depth. Almost to a level were it just seems like a long ad which I really hoped wouldn't happen but was to be expected.

Altough I have to say the cinematography is excellent. Gorgeous shots troughout. And the bit I liked the most was Pjanic at home with his son. More of that please.

But t's a start and I more than likely will watch the rest once it comes out. If it is succesful maybe more clubs will take a chance on something like this (I hear Man City is already planning something with Amazon) and it will get better from here on out. And I'm glad Netflix took this chance and got the ball rolling.

Also from a viewer perspective it would probably be more interesting to see a club that isn't as perfect as Juve.
