A reckless young adult as Superman's grandfather? Why, oh why, did they have to make this look like another CW show? We already have way too much of that crap... I truly hope this season will improve (the enigmatic Emperor and the glimpse of Brainiac keep things interesting), but if this pilot episode is any indication of what to expect, then I'm not getting my hopes up. Such a wasted opportunity.
