I was afraid Mystery Queen 2 wouldn't live up to the first season, but it may have actually outdone it. The relationship between Ha Wan-seung and Yoo Seol-ok is even more fun than last season, and while there is more flirting, it's not straight up kdrama romance, which I really appreciate because other than for cute interactions, the plot is very much still about the mystery. While I was hesitant about the new cast members, they all grew on me soon enough, while of course the old cast is perfect. The directing is great, the acting is stupendous, and the ending resolves some more things while still leaving space open for a new season, just like before. I really hope we get a Mystery Queen 3.
