Well, gosh darn if that little girl wasn't the cutest, most precocious thing ever! I do wish they would've dialed it back a bit with the whole grown-up little girl, though, it made her kind of cartoonish at times.
But as formulaic and cliched as this movie is, it's still really well acted and pretty enjoyable. Much better than the last few Nicholas Sparks movies that have come out, that's for sure.
