Let's not forget that this, supposedly holy text written by an all-loving creator, endorses slavery, wife beating, child murder, rape, pedophilia, human sacrifice, genocide, bigotry, racism, sexism. So, let's all focus on the not-so-horrid stories and make a touchy television show about those. Except... The last story glorifies torture and human sacrifice while subtlety slipping in the idea that children can be punished for the mistakes of their parents and strangers can be assigned someone else's punishment while taking zombies and magic for granted.
