@chickenshit what!? Shelley Duvall plays it great too, she compliments and helps sell Jack's insanity. She's the audience, we're feeling what she's feeling when things go down.
@philrivers I completely agree. I don't understand why so many people say her performance is bad when I find it excellent and completely realistic to the situation Wendy is in.

@saara-v-a It's because most people have no realistic image of what a person expectedly should or would look like in a situation like this and most people just assume that their own idea of things they never experienced before still represents reality. It's the same with explosions and movies. A lot of people think that explosions in movies are really bad but once they actually see a real explosion they start to realize that movie explosions often aren't even that bad and that just their own expectation of it was. The same happens to the guy that luckily deleted his comment or account by now.
