@misnomer I like how Johnny, without ever wanting it or even realizing it, recreated Kreese's Cobra Kai, complete with psychos and "winning is all that matters" mentality.
@thunderztormdk that's actually what I don't like, the story wasn't moving in that direction until the season finale. I'd be alright with them building things to that throughout the whole season, but they didn't, they clearly had a change of heart (or brain) in the last episode.

Oh, man... I hate when this happens. The whole season was great, it got me pumped up on solid nostalgia, the new characters were awesome, the never ending rivalry between Daniel and Johnny was exciting... But these last couple of episodes were rather uninspiring and bland, built on nothing but the same old clichés. They totally fudged up Miguel's character, I'm sure no one of us was rooting for Robbie, we didn't care for his character, they spent the whole season building things up for Miguel to be a fair champion... And then they do this to him. Sketchy writing. They definitely messed up the finale, after such an excellent season. What a pity! At least the very last scene gave us something to look forward next season.
