For the curiosity value of seeing John Candy in one of his earliest roles, I braved a film I knew would be awful. It was worse than I imagined. Terrible production values, weak and nonsensical story, and a complete waste of talented performers - Candy aside, Peter Cook, Mickey Rooney and Dick Emery were all left asunder by the dire script and lacklustre direction. Find The Lady? Find The Comedy should have been a better title.
