@coffee_in_an_iv I don't get how these movies are still necessary.
It has been proven, that there is no therapy for being gay. Regardless if you see it as an illness or not. Subjecting someone who didn't commit a crime and whose "condition"(from the point of view those ppl who send their children there) isn't life-threatening is just cruel.
Those "conversion-centres" should be outlawed and the people running them thrown in a hole, as should parents who send their kids there.

2018 will likely be the year for the most notable movies about conversion therapy to date. With Boy Erased to come, Cameron Post set the bar pretty high. Not sure if boy can top girl on this one.
