After seeing one film today that tried to manipulate my emotions, Midnight Sun , here's a film that hits the heart because it speaks truth within its narrative. An impressive film, based on the life of a man who I knew very little about, and a story that deals in complicated thought processes and feelings. Phoenix is terrific, as usual, and Jonah Hill delivers the knockout performance of his career.
