Well, it didn't take long for things to escalte to the max... but really, what else would you expect from The Expanse.

Episode begings slow, still following the set up from the last ep. Naomi is in full Belter mode, bringing back her accent and looking toward a new Belter Nation to follow. Possibly a fool leading the foolish being lead by an ego maniac with delusions of grandour;Holden has been completely thrown off by his continued visions of Miller, the past has come back to haunt him and he has no idea why. Just when he thought he was moving forward, that damn blue goo is pulling him back. And to add to this, he still has to deal with a film crew following him around and their director trying to get into his head; The UN ship still trying to be the big dogs in the skies, but the mysterious woman is with them. We don't know much about her, but that she is planning something and it involves Holden.

Then as Holden's visions of Miller intensify, the camera man places an mysterious panel/chip in the Roci's main system. And at the turn of a dime, everything does to hell. A small UN science vessel explodes (the bomb the mechanic was tampering with), the Roci crew gets locked out of their system as a doctored video of Holden claiming the Ring for the OPA/Belters, pretty much declaring was against Mars and the UN... while the OPA is left trying to figure out WTF is happening, cause they have no freaking clue.

Meanwhile on the Roci, Holden and his crew are scrambling to figure out what in the world is going on as both the UN and OPA missel lock on their ship.... Focusing on VisionMillier, Holden tries to piece something to save them just a the OPA fires on the Roci.... quickly they make a run for the Ring, but at Holden's orders The Roci must slow down as it come near the Ring... but why? What secrets does this tidbit of info hold? What will be revealed?

This episode is the perfect example of how quickly things can escalate on the show. It opens with quiet, nobody really knowing what's going on or going about their business, and then BAM! All hell has broken lose, and Holden is in the middle of the chaos trying to figure out which was is up and where he can run towards in order to fix the mess he finds himself in. Cause it's ALWAYS him.
