Gosh, Miguel deserves some love. The fandom hated/hates him, his family is bitchy to him, Rebecca's children are weirdly distant towards him. That man has done nothing wrong until now. So happy to see at least Annie was happy to see him.

I'm just a bit upset that this show has the tendency to skip interesting/important conversations. I would have loved to see more of the conversation between Tess and Kate. In the past they skipped how Beth and Randall told their children about wanting to be foster parents, they skipped whole days/weeks where Deja's mother said she doesn't want to be the guardian anymore, I think they skipped Kevin's complete rehab etc. I've noticed that quite a few times and I find it a bit upsetting tbh.

@haibara I understand where you're coming from but in a show that likes skipping around and showing different timeframes depending on the subject of the episode I can't help but feel like we might come back to some of those moments in the future. And maybe then they will be explored deeper than they could have been in however they set out this season.
