Very basic characters and no description of the post-apocalipse world where they live. This seems to be a dystopic future but none of the central issues - not even the most dystopian ones such as the no-stop connection with Oasis - is tackled from a critical or "adult" point of view: just like a 80's Spielberg's movie. Too bad... we are in 2018 (a post Black Mirror world) and the public expects these issues to be dealt with more seriously, even in blockbusters. BTW, too much things happen and too much references to the pop culture: this distracts from the story that at the bottom is... meh
