One Day 2018

My feelings are very ambiguous after One Day.

For one, I underline I don't have any kids and don't plan to have to have them in the near future. However, the main message can be understood and experienced by anybody, because the film didn't want to shut the non-married or childless people out. I think it's more lifelike than any other films I watched in the past few years. Really liked how it reacted this current political climate which that is the Hungarian government calls 2018 the year of Families because of recent years’ serious migration to Western Europe therefore needs to people who remained in Hungary have more kids and targets them with totally influential advertisement that having kids is just an adventure, laughter and there's nothing struggling about it.
Although, I mentioned it is lifelike I also surmise that is not how an ordinary day goes by usually. For instance, I don't think that all the children have all their extra lessons at the same weekday and more minor setbacks were happening also at the same day. Top of that, I don't find the character of the father was depicted in the most accurate way. It seemed like everything in connection with the family has to do by the mother and the father is never around, also he is in a verge of cheating. These circumstances mitigated the film's hyper realistic point of view, but all in all I'm glad I was able to see it in the cinema.
