This was a pleasant surprise! I had some doubts before I choose to see this one today when I went to the cinema but after all it wasn't a bad choice. Stylish film that gives a good portrait of the society that idolizes celebrities. All of the lust, expensive brands, lots of money, the parties, the star lifestyle! This also makes a reference of many parents that nowadays don't pay attention to what their sons are doing, they just don't care or pretend they don't care and don't see what they are doing. They are just too busy with their own lifes. This should be seen also as a satire. Comparing this one with Spring Breakers, the two are about some kind of wild teenagers, in my oppinion The Bling Ring definitely wins! The young actors gave a natural and good performance! The chemistry between all of them was great! I didn't knew that this was based on true events.
