Have loved Star Trek since I started watching as a kid with good old Shatner and wasn't going into this series with a whole lot of hope... but alas I was not disappointed in the least. Some die hard fans don't like some of the changes etc, but it is what it is and they've changed for the better IMO. Can't get enough! Only one actual disappointment and that's that my buddy (who was a major Trekie... having watching all the shows, movies, had a massive collection of books and collectibles) passed away before getting to see any of it. We had just heard rumor about the series and were looking forward to it.
