@anthoney65 Haven't seen it yet, but she was probably worried if she shot him and the girl wasn't there, she wouldn't even have him as a lead to question later. Less likely is that the show is trying to insinuate that she IS working with Tal somehow, but that just feels inherently wrong on each intuitive level.

I had a big issue with this otherwise good episode. When the bad guy was in her house, he told her your daughter is up stairs in her room then he walked out. She had a gun she should have (I would have) shot him dead right there and then. Game over.
