@dipperdolphin Guess that depends on what you expect of a LN?
The LN is an isekai with a darker starting twist, but after that is handled it is basically a typical isekai with an overpowered MC and his harem getting stronger, etc., while helping people according to his credo/moral.
The world has some darker aspects, but stays a fantasy world.
Still enjoying it and I'm currently in vol 7.

What a horrible adaptation.
Animations are subpar, CGI is even worse. Character design seems lackluster and the episode jumps all over the place.
They jump right into one of the most defining experiences of the MC and then destroy what little suspension they can build with ridiculous, unconnected flashbacks.
Instant drop for me, I'll stay with the LN...
