Parasite 2019

I see that some people say the ending is actually happy and that everything seemed to work out at the end! But i find that's not true!
We can clearly see at the ending that Ki-woo is still poor and dreaming of making his message to his father comes true
but did it actually happene or not? we don't know for sure!

And i guess it didn't happen and that was because the reference back then when they lost their house, when the father told Kim Ki-woo that plans don't always success and that dreams never come true, so it actually does make sense.

The only thing i don't like that how did actually Kim Ki-woo survive?:D
I mean he has been hit twice by a huge rock in his head!!
And the funny thing that the woman who hit her head by falling over the stairs is the one who died :D!

@dr-blue (Sorry about my bad english) I think it is because it was a lucky rock. That would explain why he was laughting at the end, it's ironic that he were so lucky and his sister doesn't with only one stab. That's my theory!

@dr-blue He got assisted while the woman was closed in a basement for at least 24h. The rock was huge though XD

@dr-blue Nice review, but you should hide spoilers

@dr-blue Thanks for the explanation, I had not noticed but I misinterpreted the end, after reading your comment I understood :)

@dr-blue I agree with you, that was strange. However is in line with the same plot as even death does not follow plans

@dr-blue The director has stated in an interview that he did the math and it would take Ki-woo 541 years to earn enough money to buy the mansion.
He's never going to be able to buy it. That's the whole point, "class mobility" is a cruel joke.

@jokerpt this does change the way I lived that final scene. My heart is broken again

@andrea_paladino Good art makes you feel and think about the world, glad that made you feel :^)

@dr-blue the son's plan is clearly pathetic and very unlikely to succeed. I think they simply showed what the son's plan would be, but then the movie show us that it can't happen. It's just a delusional plan

@dr-blue The rock was shown to float later on (it needed to be pushed into the water to keep it there) showing that it was fake
