Really? More terrifying than Heath Ledger's take? I'd give Heath and his knife the win on that one.
Agreed. Though I don't understand why that is important. Is it a Pagliaci thing - 'the tears of a clown"?
That'd be the first Batman movie I didn't see on opening day.
DC need to take a break. Have a real think about what they want these films to be and then wait for a script/producer/director package that works. Then go casting.
Their Superman is awful. Their last Batman was underused (and I suspect Ben Affleck voiced opinions they didn't agree with and parted ways). Wonder Woman was a fluke probably because they didn't think it would be a hit so didn't meddle.
Robert Pattinson isn't screaming to me to be a good casting but often a lesser known actor works better in these movies. (Outside of the Twilight crowd, he's virtually unknown)

My Review of ‘Joker’ in 3 Sentences:
This is the most terrifying Joker I’ve ever seen.
This is the saddest Joker I’ve ever seen.
I wouldn’t be opposed to Joaquin reprising this for Pattinson’s Batman.
