Unbelievably bad, Scary Movie 4 is incredibly stupid and juvenile. This time the series parodies War of the Worlds and The Grudge, with additional spoof of Million Dollar Baby, Brokeback Mountain, Saw, and The Village. The humor is extremely low-brow and there’s nothing clever or innovative about any of it. Additionally, the pacing is too fast and doesn’t allow any time for the jokes to work. Scary Movie 4 is a poorly made and uninspired piece of trash, and an embarrassment to the series.
