Furie is what you feel when the restaurant tries to make a meal out of an appetizer. It's well made and looks good but they're not fooling anyone, there's just not enough there to make us feel satisfied.
Part horror, part family drama and part psychological study, Furie tries to cover too much yet doesn't live up to the promises made on the poster.
(Special mention goes to the soundtrack, which adds a depth to the film that the above par directing doesn't always deliver, and to Paul Hamy who dons the role of the bad guy like a stained, skin-tight T shirt.)
