It's hard to stick a landing, especially when you're a writer in Hollywood (thank god our pilots don't have this problem).
Overall this wasn't the worse season of the 4 but as the season progressed it had some unforgiving plots and scenes that brought this season down.

The whole Black Army for one, as if there weren't other races present in this area like there were in the previous seasons. This IS the Japanese controlled area we're talking about. So the Communists are the good guys... Sure ok. All in all I wish they had stuck to the faux-history aspect of the show... What if... So they won the war. Show me some other places? What's bad? What's good? What's the horrendous truth. They always shyed away from these stories for obvious reasons... The fact black people were the rulers in the end had obvious reasons too (again: other races exist, show them!) One would think that those who didn't join the Nazi's would actually fight alongside them... but no... guess we can't show that.

I could have gone with the one-on-one talk between the daughter and Helen Smith too. I don't need no 13-year old to tell me how the world works. You weren't even born girl! Again... Too on the nose and remniscent of things that are happening now.

And then the ending. So the portal opened... Now what. 15 gazillion people just wander into this earth and just... replace all the people that are dead? How great will that be? There's still a Reich, there's still the Japanese, nothing is solved. But sure... walk into the light.

All in all I enjoyed the Man in the High Castle despite the main character "Julianna" who never convinced me she was actually a leader or resistance material.
