I was so blown away by this; I keep having it in my thoughts a day after I finished (and it's a rare thing nowadays, to be honest). I'll probably read the book now for the full experience. The slowly crippling horror and despair, how people cut down by the inevitable, and how they cope with being left to die - it's so overwhelming with real, raw emotions. The mix between the real and the somewhat unreal (the Tuunbaq, but what do we know about these distant and mostly inhabited realms?) creates a chilling experience. Once I finished the season, I started watching episode 1 again, it made so many things clear, like how Edward whispered "Close" to Croizer before dying and other details. It's done so remarkably well. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes to push themselves toward some disturbance.
