Aaaw, gotta love SMTM for the moments like Sway D's, where people in the waiting room were jamming and singing/rapping along with him, and even the judges were kinda dancing in their seats! :3 (I still have my opinion about more famous rappers coming to SMTM, but these little chill moments always melt my heart.) Anyway, both him and Zene killed it, and the difference between Zene and Woodie was HUGE since they chose the same beat and rapped the same chorus, so Zene stood out for me even more (in a good way, of course).
I'M F*CKING DONE WITH THIS SHOW xD When the legit English- and Spanish-speaking guy gave them names and Mnet just went full savage writing "마미ㅅ..." under Mad Clown... :'DD But it was really nice to hear a Korean speak English AND Spanish (from the looks of it) fluently.
OOOOH, Punchnello, my child! Just as expected. I don't mean to be rude, but how is Swervy in a label? And not in a small one, either. Idk, her tone is boring, she doesn't really rap, she just talks a bit faster.
It was interesting to see Mattrix, or better, the way the judges immediately changed their expressions after he technically dissed them. It was kinda disappointing to see Swings, Boycold and some others laughing their *sses off at Mattrix's "performance". I don't think just shouting and an aggressive behaviour should get you anywhere in SMTM (or in life in general), and I was so glad and proud of BewhY when he almost immediately pressed fail on him. I guess the not-so-mature judges will face the consequences of not judging seriously when they'll meet this guy in the 3rd round (if they won't kick him off the show before that). :person_shrugging:
DaAMN, Yuja was awesome! She was so cute, and her little accent and chorus was super adorable! Though sadly I agree with Swings: if it was some other judge, they probably would've not given Yuja the necklace - hell, I don't think I would've given it to her judging only by that 1st round... I'm glad Boycold saw the potential or talent in her!
Loool, I'm crying at Seo Dong-hyun! xD He really is smart, and I can never say no to a good singing rapper. (And he also reminds me of OLNL. :D) The same goes for Veiniyfl, he did reeeally good at such a young age between all those older talents! I'M ALSO CRYING AT BEWHY xDD It's really nice to see the judges just entertaining themselves and each other with these things. And no one dared to press fail to dance machine BewhY. :D
I'm kinda torn about Woo Jinyoung because I think his rapping skills are really good, but his tone is not right. I loved how he said the "camera zoom" part, I think that voice would suit his rap well, but all the other 99% of his rap was in a kinda shaky voice, so it wasn't the best to listen to. I'm not sure if this all was because of the cold or not, but being sick definitely didn't help him with his situation. This is where the question pops up: if Mad Clown saved Yunhway just because he/they know she's capable of a lot more, why couldn't at least one of the judges not press fail on Jinyoung even though all of them seemed to know that he had a sore throat? Now, I agree with the decision made for Yunhway, but I certainly don't with the one made for Jinyoung.
Ooh, JJANGYOU was pretty surprising! I didn't think he had this much in him judging by the 1st round. After hearing his story (which I hope is not just for the views), I like him even more. He seems like an honest and polite person. Also, his eyes kinda resemble pH-1-ie's, so that's an extra point for him. xD
