As a fan of both the shining book and movie I hat lot of fun watching this. A lot of course is nostalgia but imho it was woven very good into the new story. Yes three hours is looong for a movie, but Doctor Sleep really is three hours fun. Also I had major Goosebumps during chapter six and am a bit bued out that I only now got to know that there's a sequel to the shining novel.
