Yet another movie of a musician who has had a less than optimal life. Is creative genius only born out of misery? The format of the movie, the musical style, is off-putting. It made light of scenes that instead just became awkward, almost like Elton John, the film maker, wasn’t able to cope with the topics of his life. He needed to relinquish creative control and let the writer, director have the control. It was good. Not as good as Bohemian Rhapsody though.
