For all the positive reviews out there, this felt pretty middle of the road to me (and pretty overlong). Rogen and Theron both play their roles well, and the supporting cast has their moments, but the laughs are lighter (and fewer) than you may hope for. At 2+ hours long, it presses the boundaries of your patience for a romcom. I think if it would have been tightened up a bit and maybe leaned a bit more on the comedy than the unlikely romance, it could have been a much more engaging film. However, at it's length, pace, and focus I found myself disengaged from time to time, but never outright gave up, so it did just enough to keep me with it.
