Grimm: Season 5

5x20 Bad Night

10 seconds in, and I'm already shocked by the bad acting. Someone steals your kid and you just hit a chair and calmly take out your phone? Nick didn't seem all that upset to me.

Wu shows more grief and outrage over being Wesen-esque than Nick did over losing his only child.

Remember how upset Nick was when Juliette was in the coma? When she lost her memory? When he was tricked into sleeping with Adalind? When Juliette became a Hexenbiest? 10x more than he is now with the possibility of never seeing his son again and his son possibly being killed. These actors really ARE worn out after 5 seasons. David Giuntoli has never been the best actor (at least not in this show), but he hasn't even had any real energy since season 3.

Geez, Diana has a bigger bed than I do. As if the kid wasn't spoiled rotten enough.

Why did they make Renard such a creep in this episode? They're really trying to make us dislike him after they've spent the last 3 seasons trying to make us root for him. I'm still hoping he has something up his sleeves to put Black Claw in its place.

Why is Juliette suddenly more "human"? Not just in the fact hat she's actually concerned about Nick, but in the actress's acting as well. The way she moves, the way she speaks, her word choice. All of it is significantly less "mysterious" and robotic--which is what always irked me about "Eve".

Nick has his son taken and he's curious about Hank's B and E? Why did he even go into work where he has to take orders from Renard? And is no one concerned about Wu yet again??

Honestly, WTF? Nick pretending to get Zuri to a safe house seemed more concerned and upset than him the entire resto f the episode, DESPITE HIS CHILD BEING TAKEN.

Bad acting ruined this episode. Nick's acting was horrendous. "Eve's" acting is always eye-roll-worthy. And Diana's was terrible, but I cut her some slack because she's a child--and she's supposed to be a creepy one at that. Even Monroe's acting felt incredibly lackluster this episode, like the actor just rolled out of bed. The only good part of this episode was Zuri betraying Hank...
