Buddies 1985

The recovery of this film is important because it confronts us with the way AIDS was lived at its worst. There is an obsessive need to explain many things, a discourse of anger and helplessness that does not benefit the film, but that was necessary at that time. Knowing that the director Arthur J. Bressan died in 1987 (44 years old) and the actor Geoff Edholm in 1989 (33 years old), both of complications derived from AIDS, makes its viewing even more emotional.
