I think I remember one of the reasons now why I stopped watching Arrow all these years ago - it had become too much of a boohoo-pity party. Just like is touched upon here just so the writers can give Oliver some lame excuse why it isn't a boo-hoo-pity-party. OH well.
Also, suddenly Oliver has magical powers. Just like that. Yeah, sure. You know, just picking up some quick tricks from an immortal shaman because why not, and OH GOSH IT WORKS because "Felicity, you are my light!!!" The soap opera is real. This is so cheesy, I think I just became lactose-intolerant. Just like that.
I did like the Thea-storyline here though, despite following yet another trope. Magnificent of her to pick up on such details.
