I disagree... This movie is a classic like the original Tron. I still appreciate it for it's 80's appeal. Yea, a little corny and yea, the special effects do not rival Transformers, but still a great flick from it's day. Hell, I still like the Godzilla movies from the 60's and you can REALLY say those were bad... :-)
