Hmmm, seems like there's soon to be some relationship shuffling afoot. Strangely, as much as we all ship Archer and Lana, (especially because of A.J., who has pretty much been out of the picture) after this episode, I kind of think Archer can do better. Archer has always been pretty much a cad, and Lana knew that from the jump, but, like Brangelina, they had great sexual chemistry, but sucked at every other aspect of their relationship. Lana then abandoned Archer, whether for financial security, or some other reason, but, somehow ended up with an older, MUCH douchier version of Archer, just without the awesome spy-craft skilz, or striking cut of jib.
Yet, when he shows up with a woman as or more beautiful and intelligent, (without the truckers hands no less) than she perceives herself to be, she is completely threatened, and goes full green monster, almost blowing (phrasing) their mission, in no small part because I think she realized, as Archers date mike-dropped, he had indeed upgraded.
Archer, IMO, is not so much jealous, as irked, that Lana would DOWNgrade, especially when her husband keeps opening his foot and inserting his mouth, proving he's pretty much a creepy Lothario, with a twinge of racist azzhat to boot..., in other words....., Joe Biden! (un-bunch your knickers, it's just jokes people) OMG, the cream in an Oreo..., REALLY??
But, as is often the with case self initiated therapy, it seems some insights were gained during this Psychology episode. Lana realizes she was just another trophy wife, Archer realizes he may have let a good one slip away, Mallory looks like she may soon be wife number 5, as she reverse cuckolds Lana in her own house, Cyril really, REALLY hates that Archer doesn't appreciate and notice him, Pam has uh, "serviced" a busboy to get out of paying a check, and Cheryl knows how to use her boobs for non sexual monetary gain.
Also, I guess androids, do dream of electric sheep, er, boyfriends? I suppose Holographic threesomes are next for Krieger. Can one be Cuckolded by a computer program? Open the pod bay doors.., Mitsuko!
