This series really reinforced how significant Glen A. Larson was to TV in the 1980's. So many series that became household names at the time - and so many series that were incredibly visionary.
Automan was visioning. This was 1983 - a time before the PC - and yet computers played a significant part in Larsons programs like this.
The downside is that watching it now is like watching something from a different time.
But I really recommend that you at least try it before moving on. There isn't anything like it around today.
