My wife said the same thing, but I liked this sort of trashy twist final scene. It fit with the rest of the movie. I would have been fine with an ending where she had just moved on though, too.

@lilaa2020 actually that was the best part! the final line was awesome!. I thought that she had Stockholm syndrome and felt sorry for her and that it will ruined the movie, but once she spill the pills and the "now, open wide" was fantastic!
It left me expecting it to end with her eventually finding her parents but I'll give some points for the ending we got just because it caught me by surprise.
