@bradym03 "this is what happens when you don't let X direct the sequel..." I suggest you check the release dates of Pacific Rim and Atlantic Rim, then compare the release dates. Pacific Rim was released 7/12/2013, Atlantic Rim was released 7/9/2013. This isn't a sequel or an attempt at a sequel, it's a thrown together knock off attempting to cash in on the hype of the major film using a similar premise.
Not to mention the "sequel" to AR released a couple of months after the PR sequel, as another cash grab attempt from the PR feature film.
But yeah, this film is B A D bad.
@eric-v-mazzone Hey there, I am aware this is not a sequel and just a cheap cash-in. It's only a joke; the joke is that the quality drops whenever Guillermo del Toro isn't directing, for example, Blade 3, Pacific Rim 2, and Hellboy (2019).
