Meh.... not a bad idea. I bet the genesis of this idea was during a boring video conference call. I'm sure it seemed like an awesome idea until they actually tried to finalize all the details of the story.
It definitely had some potential, but the 'twist' at the ending seemed really forced. Overall, this could have been much worse, but it could've been better too. Kept me entertained for 80 minutes.
