Personally season 1 & season 2 are better than the most recent Family Guy episodes and are enjoyable. After season 2 the show goes downhill, the episodes are just plain nonsensical (like modern Family Guy episodes). Despite the show being a branch off from Family Guy there was too many Family Guy related scenes, jokes & appearances making the show feel weak with it keep leaning on Family Guy for material due to a lacking supporting cast of characters on the Cleveland Show (probably why Season 3 & 4 are very nonsensical). The show started off well in my opinion but went downhill, I can see why it got cancelled.
