The intro already did the title justice: "The Good, The Bad, and The Badass". I loved those cuts :)

This was a sweet/romantic episode (apart from Kreese being Kreese and Robby getting completely lost).

The appeal scene was also great. Kreese playing it smart, Daniel being a hotsthot (and also Amanda), and Johnny being entertained until he couldn't take Kreese's BS anymore :D Miguel and Sam saved it nicely and the following scene at Miyagi-Do was also nice (the two of them bringing the competing dojos together - kinda a bit like Romeo and Juliet :D). The joke's on Robby though. He and Tory deserve each other (I already wondered if they might eventually become a pair).

Also: Not sure if Johnny should even bother buying a new TV :D (not sure if he destroyed two or three of his TVs now)

@dahj update:

I'm quite impressed that it took until episode 8 (of 10) for Miyagi-Do to (officially) reopen. They really did a great job to keep the story working perfectly fine without it (I didn't find the last 7 episodes any less interesting).

Some nice quotes too:

  • The saying about forgiveness, compassion, and digging two graves
  • Johnny: "But I don't ever want you to start the fight."

It's nice to see Miguel and Sam finally being friends again (starting over).

I found it quite interesting that Daniel and Johnny were (almost) against the tournament and that Sam, Miguel, and Carmen convinced them to fight for it. It's also so sweet to see Johnny concerned about Miguel and Carmen say: "It wasn't your fault." <3

The public town hall meeting was also great. Even that old guy who complained about manholes getting renamed to maintenance covers xD

Johnny played it smart for a bit (letting Kreese talk even though it's BS) but Daniel and Amanda definitely fought Kreese at the wrong time! That was quite a fail :o Luckily, Miguel and Sam were there to save the day. Sam's quote "Because sometimes the scars that you can't see are the ones that hurt the most." was epic. That seems so true! And for much more than bullying (e.g., psychological or health issues). However, Kreese then just had to say "But be careful what you wish for."... I don't think anyone doubted that :o :D

And finally Miguel and Sam are even hanging out. At Miyagi-Do (the sacred place :D)! And they're even flirting?!? <3

Robby then spoiled the fun but it's really ironic how Miguel and Robby kinda swapped roles :D Now, Robby's the jealous/fearful boyfriend (he has a better reason for that then Miguel had but then again he isn't drunk as was together with Sam for a longer time - but he also just came out of juvenile so it's complicated...). Anyway, I loved how Sam defended Miguel against Robby. And the really ironic part is that I also think that Sam and Miguel deserve each other. But in a good way. While Robby and Tory would deserve each other in a bad way (kinda, hopefully they'll get better). But now that Robby joined Cobra Kai I'd be surprised if Robby and Tory wouldn't become a thing (after a while). But let's wait and see :)
