@jshwlr The CGI was perfectly good IMO, there was no terrible areas and it is a Netflix show, it's not Avengers but the island scene's and the characters were perfectly good. It's very different from the boys, if anything it's more like Invincible but with similar source material to be expected.
@jshwlr Nowadays? It’s always been that way with Netflix. A lot of shows, most of them are crap.
@jshwlr The rating is justified but 'tried to be like The Boys' is one of the dumbest things I have ever read in a 'review' lol. Not even the tiniest bit or any similarity at all.

Seems like they tried to be like 'The Boys' but ended up more like a CW show with their shit CGI and cliche stories/characters.
Netflix is really going for the quantity over quality method nowadays. And there is bound to be a few duds in there. Unfortunately this is one of them for me.
EDIT Just finished it. The flashback scenes are so much more interesting than the modern.
