[7.9/10] I love the hell out of the Boy Fighting rigamarole and the constant twists and turns of the Bluths trying to teach one another a lesson. George Sr. trying to set GOB and Michael against one another, ostensibly to teach them how to fare in the real world, but more accurately to make a quick buck, is a good bit. The fact that it still works when they’re grown adults is another hot.

I just adore the closing set piece. Michael theoretically trying to convince his dad that the Columbian cartel he’s doing business with is out to get him, only to be setting up a double bluff, is great. Using the bait of a boy fight to convince George Sr. that he’s spotted the ruse and can use his “scare toy” to stop it is a great bit. Michael and GOB then showing the folly of the boy-fight instigation by pretending to have one result in death is great escalation and victory. And Buster pulling his own lesson, in defense of amputees not being scary, is the perfect ironic comic capper to the whole thing.

I’m also a big fan of Maeby’s story here. Her need to find a scary movie monster, only to find one in her face life-having grandmother is inspired. I’m less on board with Lindsay and Tobias lobbing Bob Loblaw around, but it has a few chuckles. And apart from the final bit, I really enjoy Buster making his own stand here (replete with an amusingly convoluted button). Plus, the Guatemalan painters taking particular pleasure in pulling off the ruse given George Sr.’s mistreatment works well, and the Groundling references are a chuckle. The only thing here that doesn’t really work is the photo montages, but even those are sold a bit by the “Yellow Boat” soundalike.

Overall, there’s not much depth to this one, but its wild spinning humor and twists upon twists makes it an enjoyable comic romp.
