@hawknuts64 I feel that there's a difference between making a show a microcosm of real life experiences where challenging/important topics can be explored and new voices can be heard VS using these issues as a story trope.

For an example of where I think it was done relatively well, see The Falcon and the Winter Solider.

It also could be a way to open up a story-path that leads to the emergence of Batwing and Menace. (Hope hope hope.)

Wherever they are indeed going with this, it seems we'll have to wait a few weeks to find out anything more at all...
