@unwittinglyrad Isnt every (war) movie a superiority or propagandist showcase for the country they are made for.... as a reviewer we should make sure the entertainment quotient should be good, which is and advocate the same, just saying
@sinsinwar I am not believing that every movie is containing propaganda.
@unwittinglyrad Fury is not much better for realism, although I am believing regardless that its depiction of the vulnerability of Sherman tanks is realistic.

I enjoy both WWII movies and tanks, so I figured I'd check this one out - mainly just to see how far they'd push the 'superiority' and 'propagandist' angles in regards to the T-34 tank. Sure enough, they pushed them well enough.
The plot is simple, yet a little silly in itself, with quite a few decent enough tank duels that are ruined mainly because of the excessive use of 'bullet cam' after the tank rounds are fired, constant deflections and/or near misses or grazes on the armour (mainly all conveniently in favour of the T-34!).
You just find it all hard to believe and question the plausibility when the German Tiger tank was one of the most feared weapons on the battlefield. Want to watch a better tank movie? Watch Fury instead.
