Ok action, mostly bad sci-fi. Beyond that, a few of the emotional elements worked well enough but most characters are forgettable and shallow, including the main lead for most of the time. It's only those few emotional elements that seem to work by sheer willpower of the actors, that their characters have moments that feel like something, then it's right back to your regularly scheduled generic action flick.
