This episode is batshit crazy and I love it all. First question though, is the creepy circus kid from last episode a red herring for pre!Joker (even though I don't think it is)? Because hardcore fans know that adult pre!Joker was involved in a gang before he evolved into a psycho clown.

Butch's characterisation is inconsistent compared to last episode's. Here he is seemingly the old Butch without the devotion to Fish, but last episode he willingly danced a silly jig for Cobblepot? (¯_(ツ)_/¯) Anyway, I'm glad Fish's ridiculous power-grad attempt took to its logical conclusion, once she realized that she had no real bargaining power whatsoever.

I knew that the board members of Wayne Enterprises wouldn't take Bruce's threat―no matter how improbable―lying down. Now that's Alfred is out of action (but he'll live, because c'mon), Bruce has better get his ass under GCPD protection. You should have taken precautions when Alfred warned you about imminent death last episode Bruce.

And speaking of the GCPD, the police seriously just left a vital piece of evidence, the red hood, on the street? This is stupid even for fictional cops.

Barbara seriously needs to get her ass out of her penthouse and find a job, or even just do some productive social work even. Hanging around with two teen delinquents half your age is not doing any wonders for you, but hopefully Selina's pointed verbal jab at her will shake her out of her self-pitying downward spiral.
